It’s time to announce our first speakers at Data Natives x VentureBeat Transform, the week-long AI conference where we’ll be hosting half a day of amazing, educational content.
VentureBeat Transform 2021 takes place between July 12-16, 2021. The event is hosted online and includes a stellar cast of speakers and an array of great networking opportunities and side events, such as the Women in AI breakfast.
And we’re incredibly pleased to announce the first speakers for our Data Natives segment at Transform 2021. Not only do these amazing experts bring a wealth of specialized expertise to the stage, but they’ll also entertain and inspire you during two of our panel sessions.

The panel will discuss how AI is in charge of decisions that impact people’s lives and decisions, and what is coming next. The stakes are high, and the rewards are great – how will you leverage the opportunities AI presents in 2021 and beyond.
Thorsten Dittmar and Juan Carlos Medina Serrano will be speaking on a panel about deep fakes, including the implications of video and audio manipulation with AI, and how society will combat this ever-present threat.

In early 2019, Thorsten founded his latest venture polypoly.eu, that aims to give each individual back the sovereignty over their digital data, and in this way, supporting the flow of European data capital back into the local markets.
